The Stomach Vacuum
If you’ve come to any of my yoga classes you will know how fond I am of uddiyana bandha, or as one of my students memorably calls it, “the stomach vaccuum”.

Hypopressives have been my first choice of core strengthening exercise since I trained in the technique almost 18 months ago. I love how this series of exercises combine strength and breath awareness, but most of all how they make me feel immediately more energised and definitely standing taller!
