Public Yoga Classes

Weekly “Physio-Yoga” classes – Thursday mornings 8.45 – 9.45am.  “Physio-Yoga” is a fusion of traditional yoga poses with exercises that support the body and your posture, based on physiotherapy principles, together with some pranayama and meditation.  Please contact me for venue details.

Monday evening summer outdoor yoga classes – 6.30pm – 7.30pm 27th June, 4th July, 8th August and 15th August 2022.  There will also be a class on Tuesday 2nd August.  Outdoor classes take place in Les Frasses, on the slopes above Gryon at an altitude of 1500 metres, surrounded by pasture (and cows!).  These classes are weather dependent, and in case of bad weather I will contact those who have signed up to confirm whether we can still run the class or not.

Reservation is essential for all public classes by email to rose@equilibrio.yoga or by text or Whatsapp to 078 889 2918.  All classes are bilingual English/French, and are open to beginners.  Please bring your own mat.

Private Yoga Classes

Private yoga classes are available for individuals or groups of up to 4 people.  For complete beginners, a private class is a good way to learn the basics of yoga at your own pace.  Small private classes also work well for couples, friends or family members wishing to connect by practicing yoga together.  The majority of my one on one clients ask me to help them rehabilitate an injury or recover from an illness – and so over the last few years I have designed classes for low back pain, frozen shoulder, knee ligament tears and tendinopathy, as well as falls prevention in the elderly, and the physical and mental challenges of cancer treatment.

Yoga for Conferences & Large Groups

Over the years I have provided yoga “downtime” for several companies (including Nestlé) during their offsite conferences in the Villars-Gryon area.  I also teach weekly group classes to staff and students at Beau Soleil College Alpin and provide yoga activities for the students attending summer school at Aiglon College.

The simple perspective I have come up with, through all the years and thousands of hours practicing yoga… is that yoga makes you feel good… You feel better at the end of a session than before you began, and life runs more smoothly… As you practice… regularly, this subtle sense of feeling good gradually becomes so pervasive, so natural and genuine, so much a part of you that it carries over into the whole of your life.
